IF SSDT is installed from SQL Server, it will install.Very helpful but at the same time a little confusing. What install scenario would you recommend for SSDT and when in sequence should I proceed so it integrates without any problem It seems that there is finally a difference if I install from SS2012 or if I install from the downloaded package. "SSRS projects (Report Server Project) are only available via an install of SSDT with an install of SQL Server 2012"

Install SQL Server 2012 developer and cumulative update 1 (seems to be the most stable version so far.) I could read that Visual Studio 2010 must be at SP1 level before installing SSDT.Īfter several discussions, I came with the following install plan: I would like to install SSDT at the same time.
